This particular project came to us through a referral from our friends at Beach City Stairs. Renowned for their exquisite handrails and baluster installations, they’re the go-to experts for staircases. However, they don’t typically handle full-home flooring installations. That’s where we came in.
Finding the Perfect Match for Ron and Michelle
We met with Ron and Michelle, a delightful couple eager to revamp their home’s flooring. They were struggling to find a flooring product color that they loved. After discussing their preferences and sending me some photos, we embarked on a mission to find the perfect match.
I meticulously selected samples that complemented their style and brought them back to Ron and Michelle. The moment they saw the samples, they knew they had found the one. We even provided a box of the new flooring to Beach City Stairs so they could custom color the steps to match the new flooring seamlessly.
A Comprehensive Home Makeover
During our discussions, it became clear that Ron and Michelle wanted to go beyond just new flooring. They decided to replace all the baseboards and the original older style door casing moldings. We were happy to oblige, ensuring that every aspect of their home’s trim was updated to match their new flooring.
One of the most challenging yet rewarding parts of this project was in the master bedroom. The room originally had carpet up to the tile hearth and bathroom, creating an uneven transition. We skillfully installed the new hardwood flooring to run up to and flush with the existing travertine, resulting in a smooth, elegant transition.
