Thomas is a Carmel Valley contractor and found us on the manufacturers website as a recommended vendor for the Mamre wood flooring line. He wanted to see if he could find a local flooring expert to properly repair the concrete and lace in new flooring into the existing dining room, a highly visible area of the home. He knew it was more than his guys could handle and was happy to see that I was also a Carmel Valley resident. They knew the new boards would not be the exact same color as his existing 5 year old floor and even though the newer planks were slightly wider and we had to modify each board to fit snugly into the space, they came together pretty nicely.
What a great idea to create a bigger dining room nook and also have a huge fully opening door that opens up to the awesome back yard. This expansion also doubled as a master closet expansion on the area above and was very impressive.
