If you have ever been involved in a flooring project or remodeling a home, you may have noticed that not everything goes according to plan.
Well here we go again with the stair molding companies trying their best to match up trim pieces to your new hardwood flooring.
In this particular case, the original order was a few shades darker than the flooring so I immediately called in for a replacement order.
Unfortunately the new replacement order was still a shade too dark and not acceptable for me or my clients.
So what do you do next?
In this case we brought in some higher quality unfinished oak moldings the next day and got to work on a custom color match that we made on site to blend with the new flooring.
As you can see we have a couple of the finest installers in the area and they turned out awesome results.
In construction, it’s not if you will have issues, it’s about how much experience you have to calmly resolve those issues in a timely manner that keep clients happy.
Like so many other clients lately they did the entire upstairs removing all the carpet in the movie room, office and bedroom replacing it with hardwood flooring and brand-new baseboards.
