Annie was referred to us through her contractor and her realtor. She purchased a home mainly for the tremendous backyard paradise that would be large enough for their family to enjoy for many years. Although she fell in love with the home, everything on the inside would need to be changed to accommodate the more current styles available.
She decided to have her contractor replace all of the decorative fixtures and even added brand new doors and windows. They re-textured almost all of the walls and repainted the entire home, replaced the tile in all the bathrooms except the master which had been recently remodeled. Last but not least, we removed all the existing flooring and put all new hardwood flooring throughout the bedrooms and main living areas.
Annie selected an extremely popular Monarch Plank style called Lago Devero and had to wait four months for it to arrive but fortunately for us the doors, other trim fixtures and the tile were also delayed and we were actually right on time with our installation schedule.
She also has a really cool circular entry feature which she wanted to accentuate using the accompanying herringbone pattern available in the Lago collection Devero color. She also decided to highlight the circular feel by adding an inset curved border which we fabricated on site to give this entry a more elegant and custom touch.
We removed and upgraded all the baseboard to this more modern looking Baddack style with molded corners to match the bullnose wallboard.
Although she wanted to remodel the kitchen, she decided to hold off as the appliances, cabinets and everything required to remodel a kitchen are in very high demand and are very hard to get right now, so we completed the main living areas of the home so that they could move in.
She was lucky enough to have an accompanying guest house on this amazing property that was large enough for them to live in while the remodel was going on but she was still anxious to get moved in.
We look forward to going back to see the amazing kitchen remodel. And yes we already ordered enough hardwood so that it will be ready to go when they are.
