Another Flooring Project in Rancho Penasquitos
We’re happy to share our latest project in Rancho Penasquitos. Bruce reached out to us with a vision to update his home of 30 years, starting with the flooring in preparation for an upcoming event.
After reviewing several samples that fit both their style and budget, Bruce and his wife chose a beautiful product from the Legend Athens collection that perfectly complemented their aesthetic.
This project involved moving quite a bit of furniture, which we tackled strategically by working side to side. If you’re considering a home renovation, remember that staging and moving furniture are key components to plan for the installation of any new flooring.
The clients did an incredible job with their part of the preparation, clearing out a lot of the smaller items and personal belongings so that our team could get to work removing all of the existing flooring, then preparing the concrete, installing a new 6 mil moisture barrier and ensuring the installation was top-notch.
Luckily, Bruce and his wife were able to be away during the days of this part of the renovation, making the process smoother. As you can see it helps if you don’t have to access the kitchen in the first few days of the preparation process since we try to protect it from the dusty process.
Their main goal was to achieve a seamless look with continuous flooring throughout the house, and the final result exceeded their expectations. The new flooring brought a fresh, cohesive look to their home, setting the stage for the upcoming remodels of the kitchen, windows, and painting that all need to be completed for their upcoming event. They plan to tackle the upstairs in the near future as they are planning to retire soon, so this portion of the upgrade was nice to have completed.
