The residents of Scripps Ranch were in for a treat when they decided to install new flooring in their home. A local contractor was tasked with the job, and his crew got right to work.
The first step was removing all the old and outdated tile and carpet, which was a major undertaking. However, they were determined to get the job done right.
The condo, built on a sloping hillside with breathtaking sunset views, presented some unique challenges. One of the biggest obstacles was ensuring that the subflooring was level. This was crucial because the new vinyl plank flooring had a very small tolerance and needed to sit on a flat surface. If not, the joints could shear and the floor could fail.
Despite the difficulties, our crew persisted, and after leveling the subflooring, they began the installation of the vinyl plank flooring. The flooring material was an eye-catching blend of varying widths and patterns, which perfectly complemented the newly remodeled kitchen and the overall décor of the home.
However, the installation process was not without its hiccups. The condo’s split-level floor plan presented a challenge, with several steps that needed to be addressed. After much deliberation, the owner decided that the flooring material used as a riser did not provide enough contrast. As a result, the owner opted to change to a white riser, which not only solved the contrast problem but also added a touch of elegance to the space.
In the end, the project was a huge success, and the residents of Scripps Ranch were thrilled with their beautiful new flooring. The unique vinyl plank locking system not only looked fantastic but was also built to last, making it an investment in the future of their home
