David, a Carmel Valley resident, found us online by searching for a local flooring company to come out and see if they could repair the flooring in their kitchen which had some pretty severe water damage. He showed me an open box left over from the original installation many years prior and we took our best calculations and decided that it would be a couple of boards short of repairing the worst parts of the kitchen.
Once we started to look around at the other areas of the adjacent living room we decided that there was enough evidence to show signs of addition moisture coming from below from gaps in the moisture protection application so we both decided it was time to replace all the flooring.
Because they had a couple of prior issues with water leakage in the kitchen they wanted to explore looking for a similar color in waterproof vinyl plank flooring.
We were able to find the color that they really fell in love with and as you can see from the before and after photos it settles in nicely with the home. We also upgraded the baseboards to match the rest of the home.
