Joe was looking to move back to his old neighborhood and happened to walk past one of the houses that we recently completed. He had the  chance to walk through it to see first-hand all the great changes made by my contractor friend, Jesse, which were done to accommodate a large family.

Jesse had remodeled and opened up the kitchen to the dining room, rearranged the opening from the raised entry to the living room area, and completely replaced all of the bathroom fixtures and showers.

The vision that they had for the space began to come to life as they got to work on selecting a flooring that would complement the entire home decor with an active family.

This was another remodel that retained the existing staircase side trim, however, we installed new wood flooring with custom stair nosing detail to match the trim. We used white risers to create a very clean and modern looking entry.

The Brentwood Hills Collection adds an elegant look to this Encinitas home with its European White Oak 7 1/2 inch wide planks that undergo a sophisticated dual hand process which emphasizes a striking grain pattern accentuating each plank’s natural character.

This hardwood flooring is also thermal treated to achieve the deep rich color visuals. Since wood is a natural product, each plank will react differently to this process resulting in very unique color variations. This kind of variation helps display the true wood characters and is one of the most desired attributes in hardwood flooring.
