Joe is moving his family from Arizona and really had a tough time finding a home in San Diego. His realtor referred him to us and we prepared proposals for 2 other homes, one in the meadows Del Mar and another home in La Jolla which both fell out of escrow at the last minute for various reasons!
Luckily they have a pretty nice budget to work with and were able to find an amazing custom home in la Jolla.
They have a pretty large dog so they opted to keep the light colored natural stone flooring in the main wear areas and the bedrooms already had hardwood but the color was a darker Brazilian cherry that was a bit worn, had some damage and was a very narrow plank.
The existing flooring also had a funky small quarter round base shoe that was not consistent with the other flooring in the home so we removed that and went without a baseboard for an updated modem look.
They really wanted to update the color and style to a wider plank and modern tone that flows much better with the overall decor.
They chose this amazing hardwood flooring from the Monarch Tableau collection in color Matisse for this exceptional La Jolla home. “Featuring dramatic wide planks and consistent long lengths, the Tableau collection is nature reflected through human experience, like the works of the legendary French Impressionist painters whose names the colors bear”
