This is a classic example of networking and business by referral. One of the realtors that I worked with many years ago introduced me to the contractor she works with.

That contractor refers us to his clients for a remodel in Encinitas. That client introduced us to his designer for that project who then introduced us to another one of her clients in the Meadows Del Mar.

Now a couple of years later that client refers his sister to us as they just had a kitchen water leak and another contractor had tried to replace the flooring with a product that didn’t even match the rest of the home.

We were asked to find a color that would be a better fit. I had them send a few photos and I showed up the next day with several samples and actually found the matching flooring that they loved. This amazing product from the Monarch plank Tableau collection.

The insurance company wanted us to go ahead and remove all the flooring in the upper level of this beautiful craftsman style home in Del Mar.

Now we are working with the flood restoration company who wants us to get involved in more of their projects because of the capability to communicate and provide extensive repairs to all the other areas that were not installed properly on the previous remodel.

The previous flooring company left the main 12 ft wide sliding doors with a 1 inch slope from one side to the other and did a poor job of leveling the subflooring in all other areas of the home.

We were able to remedy this by building up the plywood subflooring and leveling compound to provide a smooth professional transition to also cover the ¾ ” gap they had left at the track.

The replacement flooring is amazing and now very structurally sound.

The customer was also concerned about their built in closets and the trim detail around each section. We were able to make a clean transition to the existing cabinets so they did not have to remove the entire structure.
