Our latest endeavor took us into the heart of maritime luxury – preparing a magnificent yacht for its upcoming voyage to the enchanting French Polynesian Islands.
It all started with a call from a manufacturer’s representative in Seattle, drawn to our prominent online presence in the sunny San Diego. Recognized as the go-to experts in the area, we were entrusted with a pivotal role in this maritime tale.
The journey of the yacht, much like our own, was a tale of transition and meticulous care. The flooring originating from Northern Wide Plank in Canada, installed in Los Angeles before finally docking in San Diego a few years later for comprehensive routine maintenance.
Under the meticulous eye of Stewardess Kate, tasks ranged from the mundane – like coordinating fire extinguisher refills, smoke alarm testing, stocking the galley and spotlessly cleaning the vessel – to the transformative, such as buffing and coating the exterior and refinishing the oak hardwood floors. Each task, a vital step in setting the stage for the vessel’s imminent journey across the open sea.
We were entrusted with a meticulous deep clean and the application of the manufacturer’s specialized deep penetrating oil in key areas like the main galley and staircases, ensuring both beauty and durability for the voyage ahead.
With every task meticulously completed, Monday heralds the commencement of an extraordinary odyssey. The yacht, now primed and polished, is set to embark on its New Journey – a voyage to the captivating French Polynesian Islands.
