A charming home in Carlsbad caught the eye of a realtor, but the buyers were not entirely satisfied with its outdated bamboo flooring, paint color, and trim details.
They reached out to us for assistance, seeking to install new flooring that they loved. We located the hardwood flooring they wanted and accommodated their move-in schedule. While the buyers painted, we prepared the floors for installation by removing the old bamboo flooring.
We also addressed a bothersome do-it-yourself trim detail at the bottom of the stairs, opting for a modern and clean look by removing the entire curved trim and running the stair nosing trim straight back.
To save the young couple money on their tight budget, we saved the existing tile and ground the old tile’s surface and applied a leveling compound for the wood flooring installation.
In addition to the outdated bamboo flooring, the upstairs rooms and stairs were also in need of new flooring. We removed the old bamboo flooring and installed light oak hardwood flooring and beautiful wool carpet in the bedrooms, completing the transformation of their new home.
All the stairs and rooms upstairs had this old bamboo so we removed it and put in the new light oak hardwood flooring and beautiful new wool carpet in the bedrooms.
