The realtor’s client’s were buying their first home in Oceanside and they needed someone that could assist them with new hardwood flooring.
To make it more challenging, his clients were currently living in Laguna Beach. I was able to coordinate dropping off hardwood floors samples and job measurements with the client’s parents who lived nearby inCardiff. This gave them an opportunity to view the samples over the weekend and make a decision right away.
They selected a great looking natural color wide oak plank flooring from the Reward Costa Collection Oak Levanto. Thankfully, it was available in the time frame required for their move. The Costa Collection’s natural gray, taupe and caramel tones impart an airy, expansive feeling that surely improved the look of the current old and outdated square tile.

“Understanding that budgets were tight, Dave found a more cost-efficient way to do the job – rather than removing the tile floor (which had a number of uneven areas), he determined that they had sufficient room and door clearance to put in the wood floor on top of the tile for a better cost. They did need to sand, fill and level the surface before putting down the wood and they did a great job on that aspect of the job too. Their work, craftsmanship and care in the installation of the wood flooring was outstanding and the finished product is great!
