Jim purchased this home in La Jolla which included oil finish hardwood flooring that was installed several years ago. He was looking for someone to come in and figure out what type of flooring was installed and recondition it as the wood had become dried out and was showing some discoloration.

Fortunately, we were able to find a leftover carton from Mamre Floor, a company that I have worked with for many years.  Mamre hardwood flooring color Adirondack, is in the summit peak collection and features a UV cured oiled finish which can be reconditioned without sanding the entire surface.

This carton turned out to be just enough to replace a section where he decided to remove a built-in cabinet and run the flooring all the way to the wall.

We were able to restore almost all of the finish on the floors and stairs almost to the original condition. However as you know the sun can take a toll on just about anything that is exposed for any length of time and not all of the fade lines were removed but the flooring looks dramatically better in this really great La Jolla condo.
