Did you know that if you have a flood in your home, your waterproof vinyl is no longer waterproof and will actually start the molding process if it is not removed in a relatively short amount of time?

This turns out to be one of several jobs that we have run across lately where a pipe has burst in a home or business and the vinyl plank flooring sits in water and is no longer a viable flooring.

What happens is that the structural integrity of the locking system is compromised and the backing tends to either peel off, start to mold or both and should be replaced right away.

Luckily Ben has really good insurance and had been through a similar situation before and knew to react quickly. He also however had a bad experience with the previous flooring company who immediately told him that the flooring had been discontinued.

He was not happy with that answer and not really happy with that company in general so he reached out to his next door neighbors who then referred me to help him out.  I was able to locate the product the next day. It turns out it wasn’t discontinued, it was not available locally. It was available back east so we placed the order right away to secure the flooring for him.

In the removal process he decided to go ahead and replace the kitchen cabinets and turn this condo into one of the nicest over the top organized units that I have ever seen. The amazing insight and well thought detail in his functional design is very impressive.
